Version#7 marks a milestone in the Itinerary development: the GPS Route and Itinerary are mature enough to progress to the next stage, which modifies the GPS Route to what is more appropriate for taking on the hike.

Changes can still occur, but at this stage they are considered unlikely, or at least small enough to be accommodated easily. The modifications to the GPS Route are somewhat catastrophic, as described in the 'GPS Route Creation :: Steps 1 & 2' post, and any changes to Itinerary / Route would necessitate careful, if not complicated, edits to that file.

The Week Itinerary has not noticeably changed, but you'll notice on the Map, especially if you zoom in, that the number of points is greatly reduced.
